This morning, I was over at a friend's house: one of her roomates had "In the
Realm of the Crimson King" by a group called King Crimson. There was a song
that came on as the CD was playing and I immediately recognized the flute from
Opus III's "I talk to the wind." So, I checked the CD case and behold it is
the same song of the same title as the opus III song. Except this version was
more of a white-funk-70s-on-the-Steely-Dan-tip version of the song. I was
struck dumb. Heh heh, bloody heh. Just thought someone out there would like
to know.
No, I don't listen to King Crimson on a regular basis.
