The world according to Brendan Edward Nelson:

Our tastes seem to be in opposition in this case. IMHO, "A Moment in Time" sounds like the sort of cheesy Kenny-G-esque slop they put on as a bed right after the advertisements on some late-night psychiatric radio call-in program. Not that it's especially bad as that genre goes, I just don't dig that kind of thing. The Geep track ("writer and producer unknown," nudge nudge), on the other hand, is very nice. If this is the Orb's new direction I can't wait to hear some proper new stuff...it's very synthetic but it still retains a certain organic quality. The other specific thing I have to mention about this comp (generally, I think it's a damn fine comp) is that the Sandoz track on it isn't quite up to Kirk's usual quality standards, but it's still head and shoulders over most of the stuff out there today.
