It's a "mini-CD", six tracks, 30 (or so) minutes of music. From memory, the tracks are: Arpeggiators: "The Spirit Makes You Move" Hardfloor: "Acperience III" Futurhythm: Red Heat Barbarella: Barbarella 1 Arpeggiators: Trancemission Spicelab: Weirdo Good tracks, but nothing really essential -- you shouldn't have to pay much more than $8 for this. If you can't stand 303's, don't bother. "Acperience III" rips, "Red Heat" is funky acid mayhem, and despite the vocals "The Spirit Makes You Move" is catchy. I was left fairly unmoved by the other tracks -- "Barbarella" is a little bland by Sven & Ralf's usual standards, and "Weirdo" isn't up to Oliver Lieb's usual standard of wacky tempo-twisted acid. This disk is about a year old, btw. There's also a fairly glaring mastering error through the first minute or so of the Futurhythm track. | Dave Walker, Detroit Art Services (DAS) | | | | marmoset@msen.com "she _definitely_ gets the blowpop" |
