I'm in SF. svpal is a new non-profit org that I volunteer for. Silicon Valley Public Access Link. A whole $20/year for a full access account. Don't think SF is such a hot place to buy records, though. The stores here are OK, but most stores in the US buy from the same distributors. Watts (NY), Ede (NY, I think that's how it's spelled), Pinnacle (UK), Cargo (Chicago), and one from Detroit that the name escapes me now. I got lucky and that's why I have these records. I met the Ingmar you mention in NY while I was there. He runs Time Tunnel/M Records who are Structure, Mono Tone, DJ.ungle Fever, Sub Tone, Blue, Titanium-Steel, House Of Underground, ... The address is: Humboldtstrasse 4 53819 NK - Seelscheid Germany tel: (+49) 2247 74288 fax: (+49) 2247 74280 -according to his info card. If this doesn't bring you any success then bitch to your local record shop. Tell them to get on their distributors ass to get in stuff like this. The US distributors are affraid to import any more than 50 copies. (this from Ingmar) It's incredible stuff. If you are sucessful look for this limited 7" 10-pack of all colored vinyl. It's anywhere from experimental electronic jazz to ambient space lounge music. A must! (they only pressed 200 though). good luck! -robert
