There's been discussion of this on both idm and sfraves. The actual
facts seem to be that the "zippies" will not be at the rainbow gathering
and the rainbows will not be at the canyon anyway. However, there may be
something there that was just horribly misreported in Wired.
Personally, I think that if there isn't something happening there, someone
ought to think about planning something. Enough people have heard about
the week-long rave at the start of August that if one is actually held,
it should be easy to get the word out and bring in thousands of people
from all over the place....
