Well.. here's the second installment of my alternate records list.. Seeing as Dj Traxs seems to given up, I'm now the one to criticize.. so without further ado... Maurizio - "Domina" I almost started crying while listening to this record.. All I can say is that Mauritz has trully learned how to write mature, soulfull, moody techno.. Dominated by a manipulated sample of a women repeating "Domina" (like Dominum), Mauritz quickly draws you into a dream full of analog string and flute wash.. The b-side is a remix by Carl Craig, giving his take Basic Channel style.. This record is limited to 1000 copies, and is easily the best new record of '94.. Radio Active Lamb - In The Beyond Volumes One & Two Special Limited Edition Double Pack This is release is perfect for all you fanatical collectors.. Only 250 were made.. This rather eclectic English release runs the gambit, but there are some real gems in here.. Definitely worth hunting down.. UTR F&T 1 - Pieces of a Pensive State of Mind (U-Trax) The fourth of sixth impressive releases from this Dutch label. Four solid tracks of artsy, dancable technology that'll put you on the map.. Get 'em all.. "Affection, Not Aggression" Solar Eclipse - Deep Source EP (after 6am) Flighty German trance put out on Delerium's mellow sublabel.. Gets kinda proggressive, but stays intelligent.. Check out B1 for maximum gratification.. Short, but sweet.. Cheers! ** ******** ********** ********** ******** **Born.Under.A.Rhyming.Planet. +8 Records, Chicago, Il.
