Boy oh boy oh boy, I guy can't exaggerate anymore! If anyone got past all my blatant gushing, they would see that what I was praising in my original post were Namlooks concept albums (like Silence, Air, Dreamfish etc.) These albums are more than just collections of great songs, they are musical pieces, with movements and themes and "flavour". I too think his attempts at more conventional trance are so-so, but I really think his full length albums are very strong -- musically. I don't want to dance all the time, nor do I want to vedge (sp?) out all the time either. I think variety is the future of techno, and I was really just trying to suggest that Namlook deserves recognition for the boundaries he is continually pushing. Anyway, I guess that's all I really wanted to say. It was just more fun to say it the other way :). "Well I don't care what anybody else thinks, I still like Pete" ;) Aren't opinions fun?
