For want of a better term, I'd have to describe Ozric Tentacles as
"progressive rock" or "art rock", but they're really nowhere near as
annoying as most of the bands who do that sort of thing. They do
spaced out rock tunes with freaky/jazzy/spacey influences -- a
reference point might be Steve Hillage sitting in on a performance
of Miles Davis' "Bitches Brew" as performed by the Mothers of Invention.
