Trance Mission and Lights In A Fat City are both projects of Stephen Kent, digeridoo player. LiaFC's album "Somewhere" is *fantastic*. Just digeridoo, percussion and weird atmospheric effects. Quite alien sounding and absolutely outstanding. It will trance you to another dimension. I'm not so wild about Trance Mission - their stuff is a little too folky/currenty/world-musicky, if you know what I mean. It sounds like it was made for style conscious yuppies. There are a few good tracks, but overall I don't care for it and I rarely play it.

i think a better question to ask is "what groups have STC ripped off"? because i don't think STC are too terribly original. basically they remind me of all the english IDM bands... jonah used to have a huge black dog fixation, i wonder if he's over it now... /jon
