despite my reservations about harthouse, this afternoon i ventured a listen
into susumu yokota's "the frankfurt-tokyo connection" (harthouse lp3) to
find out i like what i hear. (bought it.) apart from the soft and light,
slowly building moods i was intrigued by this thumping bass pulse that
pushes the tracks i listened into ahead, which despite being quite fast and
loud has a amazing warmth of a kind i never heard before. has anyone else
heard this record? can they tell me whether this is something unique or
else that i missed some basic achievements of numerous earlier trance
records i'm not familiar with, and which?
