Does anyone look at this section of the Rephlex "manifesto" and kind of
laugh? I don't think this part was upheld very well. "R.I.P. TR909", yeah
right, even if they don't use the 909 very much the 808 and 606 are used to
death. What's the difference? No sampled drum loops, Sure you won't. I'm
not saying it can't be done (of course it can) but they certainly
haven't done it.
Don't get me wrong, I like most all that they have put out, but I just
have always thought this section was kind of hypocritical and snooty to say
the least.
