Hard to call Soft Machine dance music, but you've got at least one other
fan on idm. I could bring it on topic by expressing my enthusiasm that
Ultramarine has worked extensively with Robert Wyatt on the United
Kingdoms record. His voice seems to put off some idm-ers; perhaps it's
the seeming silliness of the songs, which really only masks a deep
cynicism. Regardless, I'm always pleased to see cross-overs from the
so-called progressive rock world, like Steve Hillage, Kit Watkins, or
Brian Eno (yes, I consider Eno a one-time progressive rocker! :)
