I saw this band called "the Faint" that used a lot of synths/drum machines under their bass/vocals/drums. http://www.saddle-creek.com/home.html (go to "sounds" page) There's two MP3's on this page by them. They are sort-of an 80's dark new wave band, but with more unexpected twists to their songwriting. ----- Also, anyone else here ever heard of Tristeza? You probably will soon if you haven't already (if you are into the post-rock scene or whatever (no MP3's here, but still lots of info)) http://www.angelfire.com/yt/cvsn/tristeza.html ----- Has anybody else here heard the band ICU? They are live double bass/synths/drum programming. Oh, also, everybody, check out this band: http://geocities.com/Tokyo/Dojo/8884/ they aren't IDM, or a rock band, but they are great weird electronic music. ----- Black Cat #13: http://www.blackcat13.cjb.net/ Ummm... http://www.threeoneg.com this website has some bands that use synths (the Locust (not mark van whatever), Camera Obscura), as well as links to more. ------ I am Spoon-Bender: http://www.iamspoonbender.com/menupage.html ------ Shit, I've seen a whole bunch of bands live that use electronics, but I don't have web sites for any of them. ------ Uhhh... I did this: http://www.angelfire.com/yt/depom/insect.html ...Two MP3's. Laugh all you want. ------ There's tons more, visit the links on these pages. -Andy! __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Talk to your friends online with Yahoo!
