I saw the NASA tour in Boston and the thing I liked best about it was
the amount of showmanship they had inbetween performers and in the chill
out room.
There were these spacemen/construction workers wandering around carrying a
long piece of ductwork and flashing flashlights. At one point, in the
chillout room, one of them taped a message "Think for yourself" on the floor
while the other one held a flashlight. It was very surreal.
Also, the stage crews seemed to be hamming it up a bit. Moving to the music
as they set up the equipment on stage. It was really funny when they taped
down moby's keyboard and drum machine.
Anyway, the music was excellent and I loved orbital's hats, but the thing that
impressed me the most about this show was the care they used to make it seem
one connected show rather than just a collection of four bands.
Very cool
