for me it's a toss up between two singles from the beginning of 1989-- Julian Lennon's "Now You're In Heaven", a ambitious but bland rock song remixed by William Orbit into typical Guerilla trance bliss. Way ahead of its time. Debbie Gibson's "Electric Youth", which is not absolute crap but is darn close to it. It was remixed by Shep Pettibone on the 12" into some pretty amazing acid house versions. There's also a Latin style mix that turns into acid house at the end... really cool. Mike J.
