I'm really enjoying this latest (?) effort by Two Lone Swordsmen.. It has a definite hip-hop slant that was absent from 'Stay Down', but the mood is similar enough that I think it would be just as appealing to fans of that album. It also still has their barmy production all over it. :-) I'd imagine it would also appeal to fans of more abstract instrumental hip-hop stuff like what Vadim and Company Flow do, although it doesn't have _that_ much in common in terms of particular sounds, etc. Also, I was pleasantly surprised that 'It Hits', with the sample from Electronic's 'Prodigal Son', was not just a renaming of their remix of said tune! This is a much more slow track, with a nice walking stand-up bass line and some bizarre spoken samples alongside the snippet of the Electronic tune.
