I am a confessed synth-pop lover. Many fond 80's memories of Depeche Mode,
Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, Nik Kershaw, Soft Cell etc etc. Caught acid fever
in 1988-89 cos It was cool to wear the yellow smiley t-shirts even though
I wasnt too sure what it meant. Bought my Kickers, straight leg jeans, the
whole works. Along with this went the Stone Roses, Charlatans, Inspiral
Carpets, Happy Mondays, WonderStuff and the Manchester thing. After the
acid cooled I tunred to Smiths, Cure, Bauhaus, New Order, Joy Division,
and that lot. Moved to the US, got acid fever again. ack.
