and lets be honest, warp seems like they're loosing out in a number of ways here... if they did a proper show with say... Clark, BOC, Ae, afx, squarepusher... throw in a little seefeel and plaid... add some Shadetek and Weatherall DJing... doesn't EVERYONE want that?... i saw on a blog someone saying that if BOC toured the US they would follow them like Grateful Dead groopies...
warp could have the whole NE flying in for a big show... on the merch alone they could make "dumb quid." hell, record the whole thing, sell the dvd for the next 400 years. endless labels would do anything for the history and LIVING, PLAYING ROSTER that warp has... this era will not last forever, this must be considered! it is completely foolish to not properly celebrate... specifically in new york :)
that said, i'm glad it's not just Battles and GangGang (though i love em, at least GGD)... heck, get Vincent Gallo to do a set! ha!
