I agree with you wholeheartedly. I also have advanced copies, not on CD but
vinyl versions of these releases. The CD version of Clicks and Cuts seem to
have 2 tracks - Kid 606 and Goem, not on the vinyl release. Clicks and Cuts
on Mille Plateaux is possibly the strongest minimal techno/electronic
compilation out for a while with an amazing roster of top producers.
On the Jake Mandell album, Stewart Walker's remix of Jake Mandell is more a
journey of rhythmic fusion between the 2 producers, with Stewart brandishig
more of his steely minimal textures to the piece. Fans of both artists should
definitely check this.
The official release date for these 2 titles in the US are Jan 25, 2000.
