Maybe specious as as an argument, Jeff ;-), but it's piqued enough
curiosity to seek out this Point 7 thingie. I had thought Toytronic was, to
re-tool a cliche, "An Idea Whose Time Had Come... and Gone", but the
absence has kind of made the heart a little fonder, although I haven't
listened to it yet. The idea of listening to it is appealing, conceptually.
The last Toytronic I recall was in fact '3D Concepts' (Dec 2004), which I
remember liking (certainly the *Loess* tracks grabbed me).
While we're talking about the dea[r]th of IDM, the only other IDM-type
release I've heard recently that's got my ears pricking up is the 10-20 s/t
release on Highpoint Lowlife
