Nice list, here's some other (mostly) hard (mostly) new good stuff:
-Haswell and Hecker, the record for Warp (UPIC Tracks) is alot more playful
than the Blackest Ever Black lp, both are unbelievable
-Pulse Emitter, excellent modular synth noise stuff, upfront, lo-fi, quality
-Electromeca ep on Deathsucker, hip hop tempo breakcore that actually
grooves, brutal fun
-Distance, that dubstep guy, has done a few tracks of serious lushness
lately that should appeal to idmers. Vaccine too.
-Andy Stott is going good, if somewhat predictable, dub techno on the Modern
Love label. That track Rise is bomb
-agreed, the Basic Channel reissues are indeed crucial
-Fe-mail, "Blixter Toad" is no joke, seriously advanced noise for the new
millenium
-Electronic Explorations and Resident Advisor have been good for podcasts,
RA did a great warm, housey dubstep Appleblim mix, although I skip over 90%
of the minimal stuff that RA seems to be super stoked on, and EE is always
solid, The Teknoist and Pangaea would be highlights
Some of this stuff might be a little old, like not this year. Anyone else
feeling those Sakamoto and Alva Noto cds? Very very cool stuff, especially
the second, whatever that's called. Peace!
