sending love.. i know how it feels :( as a designer for 10 years got in a
competition and when it was time to announce, the most mainstream (in my
opinion silliest!) design made it to the first place! i breath eat sleep
dream meditate design , i was frustrated... but i realised that what i had
in mind was different than what the MASSES wanted.. they all liked mine, but
it just didnt work for mainstream...
recognition is something we seek indeed, but sometimes it is a test... KEEP
THE FAITH, focus on your enjoyment and discourse, and try not to be
attached...
unfortunately, internet surveys and polls are NOT a measure... dont be
fooled... its hard times for real artists these days... (by real i mean, the
Truth Path takers if you happen to be one)
cheer up, make a track to express your frustration in a contrast sake as an
excersize or something or just take a break ;p

p.s.s there are many other possibilities too, maybe your music is
progressive? not understood? i say see the opportunity in this mate and give
your self a break...
