For context, what passes for "contemporary music" in most churches these
days is rooted in Jesus Movement coffee shop music from the 60's and 70's.
These videos are evidence of somebody in the congregation wanting to move
beyond nostalgic baby-boomer ideas of "contemporary."
Of course, it fails but at least they are trying.
