I thought this would be interesting to a bunch of you on the list,
apologies in advance if it's not:
I've created a new "associative musical visual intelligence" test,
where the task is to match the correct abstract symbol to each sound
cue. The style of the cues is similar to the "tonedeaf test"
(jakemandell.com/tonedeaf) that became popular last year, but this
test requires much more thinking and careful listening.
I was hoping that some of you super-ears out there wouldn't mind being
guinea pigs to try this thing out:

Oh, by the way, I'm excited to announce the recent completion of a new
album -- my first in eight years -- which will be released on Vinyl
and MP3 at the end of summer on a label I'm thrilled about (more
details on that soon)...
