Scenic Panner (by Urs Hofer & Stefan Bischoff & played by jayrope and
Arik Hayut), last seen opening Ars Electronica 2007 on the grand
stage, will play again tomorrow in a very intimate location:

Scenic Panner is a multimedia idea and application of Swiss artists
Urs Hofer & Stefan Bischoff.
Several cities have been photographed extensively, many thousands of
single objects were extracted from these images, and put into a
database.
Scenic Panner allows for musicians to place those single objects in a
large panoramic display of a cityscape, where they pan by from the
left to the right.
The performance lasts about 25-30 minutes and is - despite still
common nerdy trends of multimedia - a very aesthetic & contemplative
thing to watch.
