hey everyone,
i'm really proud of this new project The FMs, which my buddy steve and
i are doing. We're adding a drummer for our next record and for live
shows, but this first EP is a good example of the direction we are
heading. i did a lot of really careful guitlar and bass recordings, as
well as ambient sound recordings on this record. please hit me with
feedback if you have a chance!

The FMs are Steve Nalepa of Bass Science and Justin Rickles of
Brasswork Agency, two Chicago-born music and event producers living in
Los Angeles. The FMs debut EP Fabulous Morning Swim melts shoegaze, dub
techno and atmospheric foley into a deep and thoughtful listening
experience. Their gentle music pulses with warm swells of feedback
guitar, evolving synths and live sound recordings drifting over
blissed-out dance rhythms. Published by Portland-based Native State
Records.
