I deeply agree with the view about idm that this article offers I mean, I think the term itself didnt do much good to the scene at the begigning a bunch of people did great cutting edge music and after it was given a name, now the majority of the people that try to do idm dont even get close to any music boundary... more so, the best works actually are mostly by the people that already lead the secen 15 years ago and of cours etheir works now (being the best at the moment) dont even mean the shadow of what they achieved in the past maybe autechre keep in good level still, but I dont think what they do is cutting edge anymore... not if you compare what they achive in 2007 with what they already did in 2001 that said, some names give me hoe such as team doyobi, brothomstates (where is he^??)
