me and a friend did a similar project a couple years ago where we both made
an original track, mailed em to each other, then we both remixed the first
two tracks, mailed the remixes to each other, then we both remixed both
remixes together... and so on... we did it four times for a total of eight
tracks. we had a blast. not idm exactly, but it's all electronic in
nature.

we're planning a similar project for this summer with the entire label
roster passing around a single track... i'm surprised this hasn't been done
