greetings fellow IDM fans,
forgive me if this is a silly question to ask of the list but I have been a
fan of Royal Astronomy since the disc hit shelves and have never known the
answer. does anyone know where the vocal sample from Goodbye, Goodbye is
from?
given Mikey's penchant for sampling I have always doubted that it was
recorded just for the song (though possible) but many searches over the
years have yielded not much information.
on the other hand, several years ago I was in a shop that happened to play
"Your Ghost" by Kristin Hersh over the speakers and I had an a-ha moment
realizing it was the Phiesope sample....but Goodbye has always eluded me.
