Think again whoever placed that commentary.. I've seen hawtin and bell at least 12 times each, I've been to richies ctrl parties and have been right behind him on stage observing his mixing. Richie is awesome, his new track on the de9 record, twin cities is the heat, but richie is hit and miss, dan bell is way better. The poor guy is very underrated, he is an amazing dj/producer and he's been around longer than most. Richieholics are like deadheads, you can't convince them that anything richie touches isn't gold. But at this years detroit festival, I had to walk out on richie and couldn't be pried away from bell, luciano, or jeff samuel in that underground stage all day. A 45 minute build just doesn't cut it for me, if it did I would mark out for paul van dyk and tiesto, and I have a strong feeling this will never happen. You kids on the west coast are in for a treat. That said, I still want to see the de9 dvd. Hit and miss means hits some of the time.
