thats where you lost me, herb definitely gets caught up in his gimmick,
but this album is very musical and memorable beyond what samples he
used. in fact, thinking about the tracks the melodies and rhythms jump
much more readily to my mind that the sounds of his samples (exect the
apple eating track obviously ;).
