it's so neat how ever so often a person/people will make a new sound that
spawns a little tangent-genre... at first you can be angry at people that
sound like them, but eventually they become a piece of the larger fabric,
and that's not the case anymore. like, you can't even say "that bands a
radiohead ripoff" anymore... they made a new kind of music, and it's no
longer theirs, it's everyone's.
i'm beginning to hear the animal collective's greater influence..
