Why do people do this? For instance, I just got the following from Sister Ray:

Why? Why not have a stock list and only put on it things that you actually sell? If I ran a restaurant where people had to spend half an hour guessing which two of the twenty items on the menu were actually on that night, I'd lose business pretty quickly. So why is it the norm for record shops? *grumbles*
