Hi!
Heres a reminder for this Mondays Go Bang! Due to
illness (an infected wisdom tooth no less), Trent &
Xenia will be unable to perform live for us tomorrow.
But we look forward to having them over some other
time. Meanwhile, Trent is gonna DJ instead, and also
to the rescue is our friend Sylvia Gordon, the singer
of Kudu. She is also an amazing bass player, and this
night she will do a live bass set, jamming along with
the DJs. Not to forget our other special guest,
Cocoa Cracker Brown, a.k.a Justin Carter from New
Release will also throw down!
As usual, residents Ulysses and G.rizo will be on hand
to entertain and guide the evening.

SYLVIA GORDON

Sylvia is the visually minded, vocalist, songwriter,
lyricist, and co-producer of Kudu but is also an
accomplished bassist. Her voice and pressence has been
likened to dancing the line between Betty Carter,
Betty Page, and Siouxsie Sioux. Sylvia's
bi-continental, bi-coastal, nomadic upbringing led her
across lines of class, race, and cultures giving her
the capability to connect with a spectrum of people on
a very genuine level. A young lady of bold
proportions, girlish curiosity, and womanly strength
and emotion, her voice and intellect undeniably charm
and seduce.
TRENT WOLBE

Trent is a DJ at WNYU Radio in New York. He also
produces stories for public radio and runs a small
record label called Six Records. In his spare time he
nurtures his growing cats and hones his internet
exploration skills.
COCOA CRACKER BROWN

a.k.a Justin Carter from New Release/Nublu
Cocoa Cracker Brown has a very short attention span.
That explains just about everything about him. He's
running Nublu Records, composing his own weekly
email-list of New York happenings called New Release,
and throwing parties around the city with the likes of
Kudu, Tim Sweeney, Brazillian Girls, and Deadbeat.
Somewhere in between all that, he's found the time to
amass quite a collection of records. The collection
also reflects his deficit of attention, ranging from
Studio reggae and dirty electro to gangsta rap and
click house. About the only thing that's consistent
with this kid is funkiness. With a name like that,
would you expect anything different?
