connections between genres. This month's guests provide insight into
the roots of contemporary electronic music: headliner Oliver Ho is one
of England's leading techno producers and an in-demand DJ around the
world, and though he's a huge fan of Jeff Mills, he's also name-checked
everyone from Miles Davis to Brian Eno as influences. Two Chicagoans —
producer, DJ, and Flavorpill scribe Kate Simko, and William Selman, who
blends musique concrète with minimal techno — also man the decks." -
