[idm] (off topic) i guess problem playing back atape

i got a tape of super rare stuff that came from overseas. apparently
the tape played perfectly before he shipped it but the first track is
barley audible until the last 20 seconds of the track, then it slowly
fades in. i don't suppose there is anyway to fix it? it was packaged
super well and the package wasn't damaged.
i can't get another copy, this was the only copy
