Uber Lingua is Melbourne's resident 'diversity night', featuring a massive
rotation of guest DJs from all walks of the sound and music world...
alongside bP, Raceless and Saigon Sausage... Expect exotics, hybrids,
metamorphs and quasi-modes...
This Thursday the 19th of May at St Jeromes we go to town with guest DJ
characters Toupee, Exalted Potato and Zaibatsu lining up to serve the crowd
with their respective aesthetic platters....
Toupee's daytime involves running the Slap records shop in Gertrude Street
Fitzroy, by night she lets loose on the decks, and for the first time, comes
in contact with an Uber Lingua crowd... What will she unleash??? She is
known for her electro, techno, beats, minimal disco loops and interstellar
spacemusik, but who knows...
Exalted Potato has used a food metaphor in his DJ name and mini-bio once
again, so come down and give him a lick when you arrive at the venue...
According to him his tastes are worthy, how he tastes is unknown...
Zaibatsu plays the early 6 till 7 slot, revealing a downbeat selection of
international esoterica to mess with the after-work heads.
