Six months of Filtro, weve got now 8 releases and we
have a schedule that will allow us to have a better
continuity in our releases, this was made due to a
national and international exploration in the
independent electronic scene.
The experience in Filtro has shown that the
distribution of free music by the internet can be
made, because each time the people is more interested
in the great variety of netlabels that are running,
and in consuming what they offer.
Our last affiliates are Kampion (a.k.a. Guillermo
Guevara, Duopandamix) this is a synthetic urban
project of abstract hip-hop, and Alvaro Ruiz, a
producer whose work and experience allowed him to put
his different works in the best and more solid music
thats made in Mexico. Both productions appear just
after we published co.opt, from the incredible
Antiguo Automata Mexicano, one of the best kept
secrets from Monterrey, that with his new release in
Filtro and his album in Background records has
broken the silence. In the other hand, Israel M., a
fundamental piece in the tapatian label Abolipop,
releases Cubenesis, four pieces of ambient that
resume his creative process from 2003 to 2005.
Stay tuned for our two next releases: the remixes of
The novel I never wrote an original piece from
Destreza (a.k.a. E.lebleu) and Pingüinos EP from
Zensible Crew (Argentina) both are planned to be
released in june. Filtro keeps working and the holy
spirit of The WUHH!!! is still expanding as the heat
of Spring and it converts into a shock wave
