Well, that being the case, you might introduce chicas to music that
has some connection to the music that they already know. So stuff like
Senor Coconut would be an obvous choice. The Black Dog and Plaid woud
seem a good starting point, because their use of percussion isn't that
far away from merengue and salsa.
For that matter, if you find a girl you like, that merengue and salsa
can be pretty nice too, if you look for the best stuff. the guys who
can dance the best with the girls gets with the best girls!
