Doubt it. The Apparat from Berlin is a guy called Sascha Ring who doesn't 'play in' anything he just *is* it. Also I believe JJ breathes a far more rarefied air compositionally, with 'natural' strings etc. Berlin Apparat is more into pure electronic sounds including computer crashes and a good deal of assault and battery (albeit of a quite sophisticated kind) or digital manipulations of organic instruments. alan ---------------------- Alan Lockett, (Senior Language Co-ordinator, EFL), Language Centre, University of Bristol, 30-32 Tyndall's Park Road, Bristol BS8 1PY, UK Alan.R.Lockett@bristol.ac.uk tel: +44 (0)117 3310914 fax +44 (0)117 3310870 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
