Do you like any Electro(new or old school)? I will have a lot of recommendations if you do. ----- Original Message ----- From: <clive-harris@ntlworld.com> To: <idm@hyperreal.org> Sent: Monday, January 17, 2005 1:18 AM Subject: Re: Re: [idm] searching for jason amm/solvent e-mail...

Robots" compilations) has been my musical highlight over the last few years. I was crushed, recently, when he had to cancel his two London dates, after frying his synths on the first leg of his European mini-tour in Madrid! I just hope he can repair them, so that he might tour again one day. I know that he used to hate touring, but had got a taste for it, after a few successful shows in the U.S. last year. I just hope this experience doesn't put him off again!

as "Solvent City", his previous release - that album is just perfect! - One of the few albums EVER where there hasn't been a sub-standard track thoughout! With "Apples..." there are 3 or 4 standout tracks and some of the rest just feel like "fillers". Fortunately, the standouts, like "My Radio" and "Operating Ease" are so good that they rescue the album.

anyone who likes Solvent might also be amused by Vic Twenty:
