Many artists produce innovative stuff, and then don't anymore...
Innovation only lasts the moment you are innovating.
Just because you innovated a few years ago doesn't mean you are still
innovative, its a continual thing.
The (musical) world would be a sad-sad place if this were set in stone.
Know thy history, but keep eyes onto the future...
Of course, music is music, is communication, is feeling, is connecting.
So in that sense, music doesn't need to be innovative to be good, it
just needs to be good.
