I'm sorta surprised that I've seen this album pop up as many times on top 10 lists. Not that it's that bad or anything; it just pales in comparison to his other 'idm' album Winter in the Belly of the Snake, which is now a couple years old. I would've thought that because of that, people might be generally disappointed in the new album. Anyway, the bigger VS story this year was his return to hardcore brokenbeat form with the (outstanding) Infolepsy EP on Coredump.
And last I checked, it's called "Huge Chrome Cylinder Box Unfolding" but that's beside the point.
