Ogg is nicer at low bitrates/mono, which can matter (it does for me, wearing my i'm-programme-controller-of-a-radio-station hat). Winamp plays it fine, and you can do some very nice stuff with the jlGui java applet and some creative webdesign. http://www.cur1350.co.uk/ for what I knocked up. Not quite as portable as mp3 (iTunes is the problem player, really) but having a java applet aimed at your stream really helps out there. - Andrew -- Dept of Earth Sciences, Univ.
