It's a slightly annoying initialism when you think it's not always
intelligent or danceable, and sometimes not even particularly musical
(especially when I make it😉)... but after 30something years, I've gotten
used to it. Now I lean in. It's like dance music but intelligent. That
works for me.
Genre names often don't fit perfectly but they are a handy signpost for
pointing you in the direction of music you might like.
