Huh? OS X and XP are *completely* different and share *zero*
similarities as far as code goes. OS X is built on OpenStep/NeXTstep
(which is itself built on OpenBSD/FreeBSD and the Mach microkernal).
XP is completely proprietary and built entirely by Microsoft (well, I'm
sure they bought a few companies and folded their technology into
Windows along the way...).
Not to mention the fact that the x86 and PowerPC processors are
completely different...
So your trustyworthy source doesn't know what s/he is talking about. :)
