To play dvil's advocate here - Im gonna go ahead and
say the reason Apple has DRM in their iTunes music
store is because otherwise none of the big labels
would allow their music to be included in the catalog.
It may or may not be Apple who's concerned about DRM
but it is most definitely the major labels putting the
hammer down on anything other than the strictest
control of their music catalog and distribution.
