That's it??!!
The two are not so similar at all, imo. There was
~zero~ tension in the second half of Pattern Recognition,
the ~sinister~ characters in PR all turn out to be
toothless. In Neuromancer, people get fucked up
by the bad guys, not just messed with.
PR was lame.
