Definitely; to my ear, at least, there's a lot of excellent material
here for some trawling. I'm tempted to cut little samples of various
tracks for a bleeply little tech-house track or something.
Speaking of which, I was listening to Donna Summer this morning (the
disco diva, not the later sound artist), and wondering about the
various uses that have been made of her performances (and her
producers' work). Some of her songs have been sampled or remixed so
many times that they feel like a commonplace--something that you felt
that you always knew, even though you can't remember when you first
heard/saw it. "I feel love" is definitely a good example..
