I drove 2000+ miles last week, in about a half'n'hour (it may've been 23 minutes). Here's a selection from the playlist on that trip: Speicher 12"s (#s 1-16) on Kompakt. Ricardo Villalobos dj mixes. Villalobos - 'Alcochofa Remixes' Forever Sweet - 'Geben & Nehman' Matthew Dear dj mix Robag Wruhme - 'Wuzzelbud KK' Gys - 'Art D'Echo' The Youngsters - 'Lemon Orange' Frank Bretschneider - Looping I-IV (And Other Assorted Love Songs) - note: at one point, as the third track on this disc looped in, a great white heron flew across my path, at the height of the front window: I'd to brake slightly to avoid it! When it realized the possible collision danger, it flapped hard and flew straight up in the air, like an elevator rising, then continued its forward progress. http://www.apogeephoto.com/june2003/2-flying-white-heron.jpg The dj mixes and the Speichers were great on long stretches of freeway, at 85+ mph. The Bretschneider suited back country and mountain roads perfectly, as did Gys. btw, the Strepsil mixes come in handy on those routes, too, as does that live Luomo set from the Ultrahang Fest. YMMV?
